We invite you to join us for the annual giving day, April 30th from 6:00 am to 11:59 pm. East Texas Giving Day is an 18-hour day of giving that provides critical funding to nonprofits like us. Your generous support makes a meaningful difference in helping rescued animals.

Your Dollar Goes Further On April 30th

Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch is changing lives every day by rescuing animals from cruelty and neglect. Help us reach our $10,000 fundraising goal. These funds will go towards Phase Two of the new Wildlife Habitat which will enable us to provide permanent homes for more animals like Eve the bear and the abandoned tiger from Houston, TX.

Here's how you can join the movement:
1. Get up and give on April 30th!
Your gift matters! On April 30th, if you donate to Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch on our giving page at www.easttexasgivingday.org/clevelandamoryblackbeautyranch between 6 am to 11:59 pm, your dollar will be stretched with matching funds of $2000 plus bonus funds and prizes raised by the East Texas Communities Foundation!

Not available on April 30th? No worries! Schedule your donation between April 15th and April 29th and make your gift count! To preschedule your gift, go to: www.easttexasgivingday.org/clevelandamoryblackbeautyranch.

Offline gifts, such as checks, can be made in advance. Be sure to indicate that the check is to be used for ETGD on the memo line or in a note. All donation checks will be held until April 30th, then entered on the day of the event.

Fishing Report from TPWD (Mar. 20)

EXCELLENT. Stained; 62 degrees; 0.08 feet below pool. The hybrid striped bass and white bass have recently been staging in the creek arms to spawn these past few weeks. Fish are now coming back into the main lake in droves to recover from the spawn and are on a feeding frenzy. Look for heavy bird activity throughout the lake on flats and near the dam on edges of drop offs especially on cloudy and overcast days. The bite will continue to get even better in these areas as the shad spawn will start to take place in the next 2-3 weeks across the lake. Retrieve shiny slabs or spinnerbaits off the bottom at a very slow retrieve to catch these fish in depths of 17-26 feet of water. The crappie bite has picked up in the creeks and inlets in 2-10 feet of water throughout the entire lake. We are now seeing the crappie migrate back into the main lake. Look for them under bridge pylons or under docks where the depths are between 4-10 feet. Guides have been reporting exceptionally nice catches on sunny warmer days. Report by Brent Herbeck, Herbeck’s Lonestar Fishing Guide Service.
