Georgia O'Keeffe, iconic & celebrated, established herself as one of modern art's most important figures of the 20th century. O'KEEFFE! is the story of Georgia, the 20th century iconic artist. Learn how she struggles to find her artistic voice while fighting to be recognized not as a female artist but simply as an artist with incredible talent. Discover the truth about her tumultuous relationship with her lover/husband Arthur Stieglitz, the man who brought modern art to America and discovered O'Keeffe. Georgia comes back from the dead to find an answer to the question: WAS IT ME OR WAS IT STIEGLITZ?
The Dallas Examiner called this production "dazzling": "Ms. Wickwire is intriguing, fascinating, complicated, amusing, wry and heartbreaking; it's almost as if she's channeling O'Keeffe. She inhabits a titanic (though I imagine taciturn) figure like this artist, who stunned viewers and forever changed the face of painting, with grace and radiance."
