As part of the Henderson County "Learn at the Library" Series, Master Gardener Susan Skommesa will present "Square Foot Gardening". This presentation will be held on April 17 at 5:30 pm at the Clint W. Murchison Memorial Library, 121 S. Prairieville, Athens. Ms. Skommesa, who recently moved here from Southern California, has a very informative presentation and tips on small area gardening. You definitely don't want to miss this!! Cedar Creek Lake Fishing Report from TPWD (Apr. 18)

Water stained to lightly stained; 61–64 degrees; 0.10 low. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged worms, squarebill crankbaits and swim jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on trotlines and cut shad. White bass are good on slabs and minnows. Hybrid striper are good on slabs.
