One of the oldest buildings in Seven Points is now the newest restaurant in town serving American food.
The former honky-tonk Chaps, is now known as Chaps American Grill and Bar. Mark and Kristi Conn opened the new restaurant a couple of months ago for breakfast and lunch only with an occasional steak night during the week.
They recently expanded the hours to serve dinner as well. The new hours are Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The fare includes all the basics of American food from bacon and eggs to cheeseburgers and chicken fried steak and grilled steaks and baked potatoes and salad.
There is also a bar and evening entertainment nights featuring Country and Western favorites.
The address is 118 W. Cedar Creek Parkway, Seven Points, TX 75143, located just to the west of the main intersection in the center of the town. Call 903-432-1011, email [email protected] or visit facebook.com/118chaps.
