Early voting for the May 7 local election ends Tuesday, May 3, at Cedar Creek Lake polls.
Gun Barrel City voters will decide on proposed changes to the City Charter, and there are three council races on the ballot.
Councilman Ron Wyrick is unopposed for another term, Councilwoman Ann Mullins is unopposed for reelection and David Skains is running for an unexpired seat vacated when Carol Calkins resigned in early 2015.
The City of Tool has three at-large council positions open with incumbent council members Mike Barr, Kathryn Pinnell and Randy Whitehurst seeking re-election. Challengers Michael Fladmark, Johnny "Kyle" Roberts, Rick Williams and Barbara Whitfill also are on the ballot.
Malakoff has three council seats on the ballot. The contenders are
Jerrilyn Tarver, Vincent Bailey, Jr., Kevin R. Kilman, Ricky Baker, Bubba Matthews, Pat Issacson and Robert C. Cole.
