The atmosphere at Southern Comfort is calm, peaceful & serene. New for 2013 is the exterior has undergone a full makeover from new paint to the beautiful landscaping.

The property is on approximately 1.5 acres of privately owned, heavily wooded, waterfront. Our property has a private boat ramp, two story boathouse on the water, with a huge covered party deck on top, a boat dock and fish cleaning station. Our beach is private, sandy clean and tapers down into the lake with no sudden drop offs making it safe for the kids of all ages to play.

The House features are a large southern style front porch that faces the water with 6-large rocking chairs and a porch swing to give you a picturesque view of the lake and spectacular sunsets. There is a sundeck, large master living area, with a real wood burning fireplace. There are three bedrooms, two full size bathrooms and a fully equipped all electric kitchen that provides all the basic necessities for cooking and serving meals, along with a breakfast area. The master living area and master bedroom has a 30" television and DirecTV with HBO and other premium channels.

This home can sleep 8 people very comfortably or more when utilizing the Sofa or the sofa Sleeper located in the Sun Room. We have the capability to comfortably accommodate up to (8) or more individuals if necessary. The master bedroom has a king size bed, the second and third bedrooms have queen size beds. The sofa sleeper in the sun room folds out into a full size bed. All beds have an extra sets of sheets. There will be two or more sets of bath towels per guest. A large capacity washer and dryer is included. All areas of the home has been made hotel ready.

Utilities

The home is all electric that is provided by Trinity Valley COOP and the water is provided by the Municipal Water District, Lake Shore Utility.


Additional Information

The Lake Levels are low, but the Dock and Boathouse remain accessible. Boats can be launched from our privately owned ramp. Boat Rental is available through our neighbors at Cherokee Landing.

$0 Security Deposit

Right now as a promotion and for a limited time we are offering our property
to first time clients less the $500 damage deposit requirement. In other words, if you
book and pay now for a stay anytime between now through January 2014, the damage
deposit requirement is waived. Additionally for those clients who have booked with us
and have returned the property back to us in great shape, they will have their future
deposit requirements waived for a lifetime of lake living and enjoyment.
