For years, Cindy Batten has owned and operated Lakehouse Outfitters a niche retail shop designed to super serve North Texans with a passion for lake life. Several years ago, she brought Decorating Den Interiors to Cedar Creek Lake.

Cindy's Story:

As a Decorating Den Owner we expand our offering with the missing element of Interior Design. I love working with clients to help them make their home or lake house (or both) more beautiful. When we come to your home, we bring an extensive array of products covering the home furnishings market covering all styles from classic traditional to modern contemporary. We will show you samples of custom window treatments, bedding ensembles, floor covering, wall covering, accessories, lighting, upholstered furniture and case-goods so you don't have to run around town!

Our clients like our personalized service, customized designs, and the product that we bring together especially for them. They appreciate that their home will look special and not have a design or products that everyone has purchased from the same store. We think you will find that we are both fun and easy to work with.

We like to learn about how you live in your home and so we can help you make it a space that is comfortable and something you will be proud to share with friends and family.

We will also discuss your budget so that we can bring together products and a design scheme that works best for you. No project is too big or too small. And don't worry, we don't have to do it all at once. We will work with you on a plan to bring it all together on your budget and on your time table.

Cedar Creek Lake

Fishing Report from TPWD (Apr. 24)

EXCELLENT. Slightly stained; 70 degrees; 0.40 feet above pool. Hybrid striped bass and white bass have made a full recovery from the spawn and are now back in the main lake in droves and are on a feeding frenzy. Look for heavy bird activity throughout the lake on flats and near the dam on edges of drop offs especially on cloudy and overcast days. The Hybrids and Whitebass have started schooling in water from 6-14 feet at the dam and any wind blown shallow point or seawall. Late evening schooling action is also happening in shallow coves and points throughout the lake. Reports of great catches using silver or white slabs and spinnerbaits and retrieving off the bottom at a very slow retrieve to catch these fish in depths of 8-16 feet of water. The crappie have also migrated back into the main lake. Look for them under bridge pylons or under docks where the depths are between 3-10 feet. Guides have been reporting exceptionally nice catches on sunny warmer days. Report by Brent Herbeck, Herbeck’s Lonestar Fishing Guide Service.
