Fishing everyday and staying on a consistant fishhing pattern is the way to find and catch more fish.  Every season the fish move and behave differently.  Winter time fishing is a blast!  Right now the Crappie are in a pre spawn patteren.  You can catch them anywhere between 5-25ft depending on the weather.  Trips have been very sucessful taking time to work your bait slowly through structure.  This time of year can present some tough conditions and unstable weather patterens that somethimes effect our fishing.

Crappie we are using 6lb high vis line with mostly jigs.  Fishing in 5-25ft.  North end is very muddy and south end is fairly clear.

WhiteBass/Hybrids, a majority of them, are in most creeks spawing. There are still a few that can be found on main body in 1-20ft of water.  Will likely stay in the creek for another month before returning to the main lake.
