USCG Auxiliary
I have been a volunteer member of the USCG Auxiliary since 1995 and moved to Cedar Creek Lake in the same year. I am married and have to grown sons that married and have their own families. My wife is a past member of the Auxiliary as well and we are very active in the Boater Education programs that the Coast Guard Auxiliary has to offer. I am the Vice Flotilla Commander for 5-14 here at Cedar Creek Lake.

Cedar Creek Lake Water Level (last 30 days)

Water Level on 7/14: 321.73 (-0.27)

Cedar Creek Lake Fishing Report from TPWD (Jul. 8)

EXCELLENT. Water lightly stained; 85 degrees; 0.53 low. Largemouth bass are good working topwater plugs early on lake points, grass lines, and brushy cover, shaky heads, weighted senkos, and wacky rigs later in the day along deeper creek banks, drop-offs and timber in 12-28’. Hybrids and sand bass are off main lake points and humps with slabs, swimbaits, and rooster tails. Crappie are excellent with jigs and minnows in brush piles, deep water boat docks, and near submerged structure in 12-25’. Catfish are excellent in 12-25’. Live bait and cut bait are working well.
