Gun Barrel City band to perform at Dallas club benefit for Hurricane Harvey recovery effort

Yellow No. 5 Band will perform at Dallas’ House of Blues Saturday, Sept 2, 2017, at 7 p.m.


The free concert is a benefit for survivors of Hurricane Harvey in Southeast Texas. Donations will be taken for the recovery effort.


Donations can be made in cash or goods such as blankets, toiletries, non-perishable food and water.


Yellow No. 5 is a Gun Barrel City band that has played at Houston’s House of Blues also. Its style is described as “organic funk.”


House of Blues in Dallas is at 2200 N. Lamar St.

Water lightly stained; 55–59 degrees, 0.02’ high. Black bass are slow on shakeyhead worms, weightless Flukes and Texas rigged worms. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines. White bass are good on slabs. Hybrid striper are fair on slabs.
