Cedar Creek Lake

Because Life is Better at the Lake

Cedar Creek Lake Fishing Report for September 23 , 2017

Kings Creek Adventures
I started my career as a professional Bass fisherman in 2000 and claimed my 1st B.A.S.S. victory on the famous Sam Rayburn reservoir in 2002 and finished 3rd place in my first B.A.S.S. Tour event in Florida in 2002. I am currently a full-time fishing guide and offer my services on Cedar Creek Lake and surrounding lakes.

Hi there everyone, Jason Barber here with the www.kingscreekadventures.com fishing and lake report for Cedar creek lake. The lake is just over a foot low and the water temperature is around the 75 to 80 degree mark with the clarity ranging from slightly stained to stained heading north.

Hybrid and sandbass are still coming around the humps and points on slabs and trolling baits as well as live bait and swimbaits, focus on the 12 to 24' range and trust your graph! There is also a good night bite around lighted docks, crankbaits and small jigs or swimbaits are best.

Catfish are good on fresh shad fished on bottom near mainlake humps in 10 to 20 of water on the south end and scattered throughout the upper end.

Crappie are really turning back on with the cooler weather, brushpiles and deeper docks are best with bridges being good as well.

The largemouth are scattered from deep to shallow throughout the lake and can be caught on various baits from soft plastics to crankbaits and topwaters. Try docks, brushpiles, points and humps as they are all holding some fish...

Thanks for reading my report and I am available for guided fishing trips when you are ready. Give me a call at 903-603-2047
