A Little About Us...

This site, cedarcreeklake.com, is the brainchild of internet hobbyists, Cassidy Lackey and Jerry King. In early 2008, Cassidy was researching local lake communities for real estate and vacation rentals but the information available online was sparce and difficult to locate. So, we set out to change that.

Our goal is to become the "official" online guide for Cedar Creek Lake. With our design, development and marketing talents, we will create a valuable interactive community for Cedar Creek Lake residents and visitors. Launched in December of 2008, our first objective was to connect Cedar Creek Lake real estate buyers and sellers as well as Cedar Creek Lake rental property owners and vacationers.

Cassidy resides in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with his wife, Danielle and 4 kids, Riley, Avery, Carson and Reese. As a full time job, Cassidy is a Vice President at a local wireless software company. Cassidy enjoys spending time with his family, real estate investing, online businesses and serving at his local church, Cross Timbers Community Church.

Jerry King and his wife, Kelly also reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Jerry is an talented internet software architect for the same wireless software company. Jerry enjoys hanging out with his wife and serving in his church, Fellowship Church.

We believe that we exist to glorify God by using our God-given talents to honor Him by operating businesses ethically and responsibly. We believe it is important to give back to local communities so a portion of proceeds from cedarcreeklake.com will be donated to Cedar Creek Lake nonprofit organizations.
