"Angelsl in Tropical Shirts," a three-day entertainment charity event sponsored by the Parrot Head Club of Cedar Creek Lake, starts Friday night, Sept. 21, with live trop-rock music by Texas musicians at Cedar Isle Restaurant & Baja Club from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The fun continues Saturday, Sept. 22, at Whatz Up in the upstairs banquet room at noon where the Texas musicians will again play trop-rock. There will also be a raffle and silent auction to raise funds for the charities. The party wraps up Sunday, Sept. 23, with a Bloody Mary breakfast bar at BnR Pit Grill in Mabank. Tickets for the Friday night and Saturday afternoon event are $40 per person, which includes a T-shirt. Tickets for the Friday night only event are $20 per person. Proceeds from the weekend fundraiser will benefit The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorder at Children's Medical Center Dallas and the Lieomysarcoma Foundation.
