SEVEN POINTS -- One of the busiest entertainment venues on the lake is Lakeplex Lanes, where summer bowling leagues are now forming.
The bowling leagues include both day and evening schedules, and there are accommodations for all ages from youth to seniors. It's a great way to enjoy some fun and get indoor exercise at the same time.
The summer leagues forming include a Monday night schedule of mixed leagues with two couples per team and a youth and adult league. Play starts at 7 p.m. for both.
On Tuesday afternoon a seniors league of teams made up of any three members who are at least 50 years old begins play at 1:30 p.m. In the evening, mixed league bowlers with teams consisting of two players bowl two games on one set of lanes, then move to two other lanes for two more games.
On Wednesdays, seniors bowl at 1 p.m., and in the evening four-person teams of mixed league bowlers begin play at 7 p.m.
On Thursdays, youth leagues bowl at 1 p.m., and in the evening at 7:30 p.m. teams of two men and two women compete.
On Friday evenings at 7:30 p.m. teams of two men and two women again compete.
All ages bowl on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
