Hey folks Jason Barber here with the weekly http://www.kingscreekadventures.com/ fishing report for Cedar Creek Lake. The lake is at 3.73' low and falling and the water temps are in the High 40's to low 50's and falling. The lake is a little more stained with the brief rains and the high winds but it's not too bad overall.
Crappie have been very good on brushpiles. bridges and deper boatdocks. Jigs are good but minnows are a good choice as well. Try to focus on water 10 to 20 ft. and stay on or near the mainlake.
The largemouth are good right now. You can just fish boathouses all day with jigs, spinners and crankbaits and catch good fish. If you can stay in less than 10 ft of water you will do well. You can get bit on the souith end of the lake in deeper water with jigs and c-rigs on humps and points.
Catfish are good on cut shad drifting on the mainlake in 12 to 30 ft. and anchoring in shallower water less than 10 ft. on the upper end of the lake. fresh cutbait is always best but shrimp or live bait is good at times.
Sandies and hybrids are good on points and humps near mid-lake and on docks at night. Try 12 to 30 ft. with swimbaits and slabs near bottom and add rat-ltraps and bucktails to the list at night.
