Cedar Creek Lake Fishing Report for 10/5/2011

Cedar creek is 7ft low and falling with water temps in the low 70's and falling. The fish are on the move. The catfish are beginning to move shallower into the 5 to 10' ranges. Try fresh cut shad or shrimp drifting or anchoring. The crappie are still holding on brushpiles and bridges in 10 to 20' minnows or jigs will work. Bass can be found around boathouses with any water under them as well as on rocks or brush. Try from 1 to 15'. Rat-l-traps and spinners are starting to produce as well as soft plastics. The hybrids and sandies are still hanging around the mainlake humps and will hit slabs or trolled crankbaits. look in the 8 to 16ft range start by marking the bait and fish on your graph and then present your baits. Thanks and good fishing...Jason Barber 903-887-7896 or 903-603-2047
