Hey guys and gals, Jason Barber here with the weekly Kings Creek Adventures.com fishing report for Cedar Creek Lake. The lake is now 1.28' low and falling. The clarity is slightly stained and the water temps are in the high 80's to mid 90's.
Crappie are still hanging around main lake brush and bridges. Try minnows and jigs in 16 to 25' of water. Most fish are suspended in 9 to 15 ft.
Catfish are good near points and humps on shrimp and shad. Focus on 20 to 30' depths. Drifting and anchoring will produce depending on the wind.
Hybrids and sandies are good on slabs and swimbaits as well as trolling deep divers around mainlake humps and points. Stay in water 15 to 25' deep.
Largemouth are hanging on deeper docks near mainlake points and also on humps and ridges in 12 to 20' of water. Carolina rigged plastics, jigs and deep cranks will work deep and finnesse baits and medium cranks around the docks are good.
