Hi folks, Jason Barber here with the weekly http://www.kingscreekadventures.com/ for Cedar Creek Lake. The water level is at 3.62' low and the temps are in the high 70's. The clarity is stained to slightly stained.
The largemouth are feeding in several areas. Docks always produce on cc and should be fished with plastics and crankbaits. You can also find fish on the rocks all over the lake. Topwaters, shakyheads and cranks are good here. Focus on 2' to 10' water on the mainlake for best results.
The hybrids and sandies are still schooling in shallow water early and late and can be caught on slabs, swimbaits and topwaters. Stay close to deep water near humps points and ridges and fish the transition from deep to shallow water. You will find fish as shallow as 2' and as deep as 20' so be versatile.
Catfish are where you find them, some fish are shallow and some are deep. Stay near humps and points when trying deeper water and fish in 5 to 20'. You can also find fish in 2' to 10' water on windy days and early and late. Cut shad is best but shrimp, worms and other live bait works as well.
Crappie are moving deeper as well and can be found near bridges and deep rock as well as deep docks with more than 6' of water. Jigs and minnows are good. Stay in 10 to 20' and you should find them.
