Hello, this is Jason Barber here with the weekly kingscreekadventures.com/ lake report for Cedar Creek Lake. The lake level is at -2.56 and falling and the water temps are in the 80's. The clarity is still slightly stained.
The crappie are holding around the bridges in 14 to 20' of water and also around any deeper brushpiles on the main-lake. Jigs and minnows will work. A few of the deepest docks with brush are holding some fish but nothing major.
Catfish are moving a little shallower at night but can still be found in 12 to 22' of water during the daytime. Try shad, shrimp and live bait for best results.
The largemouth are on the docks as always and will hit medium running crankbaits as well as soft plastics. Try to focus on docks 5' or deeper and stay mostly on the main-lake. Some good fish can be caught on points, humps and brushpiles in 10 to 20' on c-rigs, jigs and deep cranks as well.
Hybrids and sandies can be caught trolling deep divers on the humps and points in 14 to 20' of water with some fish being caught on slabs and swimbaits. Live shad are usually best for the Hybrid bite.
