Cedar Creek Lake Fishing Report for 10/24/2011

The lake is at -7.3 and the temps are in the high 60's to low 70's. The hybrid stripers and sandies are best on the south end of the lake with the mainlake humps and points holding most of the best fishing. Slabs and swimbaits as well as flutter spoons and topwaters will produce. 8' to 20' depths should be the best starting points. The crappie are still on mainlake brushpiles, stumps and bridge pillars. Jigs and minnows are good. The largemouth are on any docks or shoreline cover as well ass rip-rap and some mainlake structure especially that with brush present. Try spinnerbaits and rat-l-traps as well as soft plastics tx. or carolina rigged for best results. The catfish can still be caught drifting or anchoring on the main lake with shad and shrimp. Fish the 5 to 20' depths around humps and points for good results. Until next week....Jason Barber 903-887-7896 or 903-603-2047
