The Humane Society of Cedar Creek Lake recently acquired a van that will be converted to a mobile adoption bus to help find homes for the many animals who wind up in the group's care. Donations are needed to help to customize the van, which will require a generator, air conditioning repair, roll out awnings, cages, floor coating and an exterior wrap. It will be used as a rolling advertisement for adoptions as it will be wrapped with dog and cat graphics and the group's logo. The improvements are estimated to cost $10,000. The van will help Humane Society staff and volunteers transport more animals to adoption events in Dallas and other areas. The shelter is at 10200 County Road 2403, Tool, TX 75143.
