The Cedar Creek Lake Area Chamber of Commerce will host Luau 2017 at the East Texas Arboretum and Botanical Society Sept. 30, 2017.
It will feature authentic Hawaiian fare and entertainment by Keola’s Hula Halau and the Hawaiian Serenaders with songs of Polynesia. Island-style Reggae and fire dancers will be included in the entertainment.
The annual event is the chamber’s final fundraiser of the year. The Luau planning committee is seeking sponsors and items to be donated for auction. Proceeds go into the chamber’s operating fund account to offer benefits and services to members and the community at large.
“This event has been a huge success in the past, and we’re hopeful that you’ll consider being a part of Luau 2017,” CCLACC President Jo Ann Hanstrom said.
