Our white bass bite has been excellent lately. Slabs from www.Moestackleshop.com fished on points and humps have been the best. As the water cools down expect more fish to pull off these spots and start holding in deeper water. Our winter bite is generally excellent. We fish a bit differently and it's lots of fun.
Crappie bite has been excellent this fall. We're fishing brush tops with jigs from www.Boneheadtackle.com and minnows. We're catching good numbers of fish and catching some nice big fish too. I would expect the bite to stay good until the water gets in the low 50's. As the water cools down into the low 50's, and colder, our crappie generally slow down some and we make a transition into doing more white bass/hybrid striper trips.
