It was another great year for real estate at Cedar Creek Lake with 203 waterfront homes sold - that's an increase of just under 15% from 2011! Smart sellers took notice of the large number of prospects shopping for lake homes throughout the year and got aggressive about pricing their homes to sell. And with significantly more prospects looking for lake homes at Cedar Creek Lake than in recent years, showings remained strong through the end of the year, primarily due to extremely low interest rates, anxious lenders willing to make loans (including local banks) and a wide assortment of waterfront homes on the market.
Of the waterfront homes sold at Cedar Creek Lake this year, 7% were listed under $100,000; 23% were listed from $100-$200,000; 27% were listed from $200-$300,000; 19% were listed from $300-$400,000; 11% were listed from $400-$500,000; 4% were listed from $500-$600,000; 3% were listed from $600-$700,000; 1% were listed from $700-$800,000; 1% were listed from $800-$900,000; less than 0.5% were listed from $900-$1 Million and 2% were listed over $1 Million. So, once again nearly half of all waterfront homes sold at Cedar Creek Lake were listed from $200-$400,000.
