CEDAR CREEK LAKE, TX - The number of sales of waterfront residences at Cedar Creek Lake is up 5% from last year - with 165 sales through the 3rd Quarter of this year making up almost half (45.96%) of the total residential sales around the lake. In addition, showings of lake residences for the 3rd Quarter remain strong with 1,507 in July; 1,335 in August; and 1,374 in September - demonstrating that interest in acquiring a lake home here remains strong.
About half of those prospects looking to buy at Cedar Creek Lake are previewing homes priced under $200,000. Another 10% or so of prospective buyers are looking up to $250,000 and the price range of $250,000 to $500,000 includes approximately 25% of those looking to buy here.
The sales of waterfront homes closely mirror the percentage of those showings: About half (46%) of the purchases have been under $250,000; 64% under $300,000; 71% under $350,000; 84% under $400,000 and 89% under $450,000.
The bottom line is that lots of people are still looking to buy lake homes at Cedar Creek Lake and, with lenders willing to make loans at low interest rates, now is an excellent time to buy!
