Mabank Cafe operates in an old bank building, and the restaurant?s decor and food are also reminiscent of days past. The atmosphere is homey and friendly, and the daily specials are similar to what families sat down to around the dinner table in earlier decades. Chicken fried steak, fried catfish, meat loaf, hamburger steak smothered with onions, baked pork chops and the like are typical entrees.
