The Kitchen Table in Eustace enjoys the best of both worlds in terms of customer base. The cafe attracts a faithful local crowd fond of its good home cooking, and its location on Highway 175 in a strip small makes it the perfect place for motorists passing through town.

The breakfast menu and the dinner menu are exactly what you would expect to find in a small town where the cooks take their time preparing food. There are eggs and bacon, pancakes and such on the breakfast menu, and the dinner menu boasts those old-time favorites, hand-battered fried chicken breasts and chicken fried steak with gravy made from scratch. There are lunch specials day that include meat loaf with a variety of vegetables, and on Fridays the special is catfish, of course.

For desserts, think pie. There are fried pies, coconut pie, buttermilk pie, chocolate pie awaiting you at The Kitchen Table in its homey two-dining room atmosphere. Smoking is not allowed, but who cares? As the sign in the dining room reads, "Pie Fixes Everything."
