Margot Hill

As a Dallas-transplant family, the one thing we miss the most about the Metroplex is the variety of restaurants. We started thinking of ways to bring unique cuisines to Margot Hill on a regular basis and the idea for a Monthly "Supper Club" was born.

Join us every month as we have rotating chefs cooking for us and arrange complimentary wine pairings. We will be safe and socially distanced and can't wait to get to know our new community!

*Limited Spots Available Per Event.

A bit about our Chef: Private Executive Chef Cody Baschnagel is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School and works as a private executive chef primarily in Texas.

Cody graduated Le Cordon Bleu in 2011 and was first in his class in meal execution and honed his skills in fine dining restaurants in Austin and Tyler, Texas. He was instrumental in developing the menu for restaurants. Cody has spent the last few years helping development improvement plans for restaurants through consulting, executing high-end corporate chef events, conducting meal preparation and cooking classes and developing on-line services from developing fine dining meals in outdoor primitive settings, as well as chef inspired meal services in private homes.

A bit about Triple N Ranch Winery:

Triple N Ranch winery

Triple N Winery is pleased to showcase three generations of Texas heritage through our ranch and winery. We are proud to bring wines that capture the spirit and the sophistication of the Texas ranch lifestyle.

The Triple N brand is named for Nan Creel, the matriarch of the Ranch and Winery Family, her daughter, Nan Michelle, and her daughter, Nan Christina. The senior Nan started raising purebred Texas Longhorns in the '80's at her Henderson County ranch. In 2020, Nan Michelle opened the Triple N Ranch Winery, specializing in high quality Texas wines. They are excited to offer a multi-generational Texas-women owned and operated East Texas winery showcasing the best Texas grown grapes and wines.

Cedar Creek Lake

Fishing Report from TPWD (Sep. 24)

EXCELLENT. Water slightly stained; 77 degrees; 1.71 feet below pool. Consistently finding the best hybrid action in 13-18 feet of water with slabs, and spinnerbaits using the proven saw tooth retrieve technique. Trolling spoons with a hellbender set-up at 3 mph in 13-17 feet of water is absolutely crushing the white bass on several humps throughout the lake. As water temperatures decrease into the low 70s we will target big hybrids on shallow ledges and humps with Alabama rigs. Report by Brent Herbeck, Herbeck's Lonestar Fishing Guide Service. The catfish pattern will remain consistent until cooler weather arrives. Catfish are good anchoring on humps in 12-24 feet fishing small shad or cut shad on the bottom. Drifting larger cut bait like carp, drum or big gizzard shad on flats in 10-25 feet throughout the lake. Report by Jason Barber, Kings Creek Adventures.
