This year the Annual Cornbread & Scarecrow Festival will have events going on all over town! The event will be held starting at 9am on October 14th at the Malakoff Community Center, 504 North Terry. Merchandise and Food Vendors available. Old favorites are returning: the Cornbread Cook-off, the Hat Contest, the Pet Contest, plus lots of games for young and old alike. Downtown on Terry St., the antique shops will be open. The Cornbread Cook-off will be held at the Cedar Lake Nursing Service on Terry St.

10 am Dog costume contest
11 am Best Hat Contest
1:00 pm pumpkin spitting
2:00 pm pumpkin chunking
12-2:00 The Tanner Sparks band!

Lots going on all day including, bounce house, corn hole tournament, pumpkins painting, ducky dip and more! Bar b que, snowcones, fried pies and more!
