    On July 3rd, 4th and 5th seven rare WWII warbirds will be roaring over Tyler, Texas. Tours of Aircraft are available as is the opportunity to ride in all 7 airplanes. Each of the Magnificent 7 will be performing in Rose City AirFest in Tyler on July 3rd and Thunder Over Cedar Creek Lake on the evening of July 4th!

    About CCVF: Cedar Creek Veterans Foundation mission is to "honor the courageous men and women who have served to protect our freedoms by providing financial support for those agencies responsible for their care and nurture. Our core focus is assisting the wounded, injured and disabled - both Active Duty & Veterans, within the Northeast and East Texas Regions". CCVF is operated through a volunteer group of directors and officers and all proceeds from the fundraisers are distributed to supported veteran charities.     Fishing Report from TPWD (Sep. 24)

    EXCELLENT. Water slightly stained; 77 degrees; 1.71 feet below pool. Consistently finding the best hybrid action in 13-18 feet of water with slabs, and spinnerbaits using the proven saw tooth retrieve technique. Trolling spoons with a hellbender set-up at 3 mph in 13-17 feet of water is absolutely crushing the white bass on several humps throughout the lake. As water temperatures decrease into the low 70s we will target big hybrids on shallow ledges and humps with Alabama rigs. Report by Brent Herbeck, Herbeck's Lonestar Fishing Guide Service. The catfish pattern will remain consistent until cooler weather arrives. Catfish are good anchoring on humps in 12-24 feet fishing small shad or cut shad on the bottom.
