SEVEN POINTS -- The Library of Cedar Creek Lake will be offering about 5,000 books for sale this weekend, along with baked goods, plants and other rummage sale items. Library employees cleared the library of all stock recently so new carpet could be installed in it. The library was closed for two weeks during the remodeling project, and now its time to put the books back on the shelves. But first, the library plans to sell excess stock in a sale running from Thursday, May 16 through Saturday, May 18. The sale will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. "This is really going to be a huge sale," an employee said.
