Jason and DeMarco, a gay Christian duo from Houston, will sing in concert at Celebration on the Lake Church of Cedar Creek Lake on Saturday, July 28 at 7:30 p.m.
The singers, who are also life partners, travel the country performing music from their four albums, "The Spirit of Christmas," "Songs for the Spirit," "Spirit Pop" and "Til the End of Time."
Their single, "This is Love," won Music Video of the Year 2006 on MTV's LOGO. Another single, "Trying to Get to You" also made the Billboard Charts.
They were the subject of a full-length feature documentary film, "We're All Angels," which premiered at NewFest 2007,the 19th Annual New York LGBT Film Festival and at Outfest 2007, the 25th Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Film Festival.
Their fan club, The Angels Club, is based on the documentary.
Jason Warner is a 1997 graduate of Lee University in Tennessee who came from a Pentecostal background. Marco DeCiccio is a 1999 graduate of York University who grew up Roman Catholic in Canada.
The pair met in Hollywood. Jason was a Christian artist in traditional gospel groups and later a solo artist touring with Metropolitan Community Church. DeMarco was a lead in the international touring musical "California Dream Men."
When they are not touring, Jason is on the staff of Unity Church of Christianity in Houston. He is a young adult and youth leader as well as a contemporary worship leader performing with DeMarco.
Celebration on the Lake Church, which is an interfaith church embracing all of the worlds religions, is south of Payne Springs at 9120 S. Highway 198 (across from Payne Springs Storage at County Road 2531), Mabank, TX 75147. The church is made up of a predominantly LGBT membership, but all are welcome in the church.
