Hi folks, Jason Barber here with the www.Kingscreekadventures.com fishing and lake report for Cedar Creek Lake. The water level is at normal pool and the temperature is in the high 60's to the low 70's. The clarity is stained to muddy heading north.
The catfish are good on mainlake structure in 12 to 24' of water and also on the north end in 3 to 12' on shad or cut rough fish. Drift the mainlake or anchor in the shallows.
Crappie are biting in the creeks and on docks and brush piles. Baits of choice are jigs and Minnows.
Large mouth are in the shallows and on docks, try spinners and shallow cranks as well as jigs and plastics.
The hybrids and Sandies are on mainlake points and humps in 10 to 24' and can be caught on slabs and swim baits as well as rat-l-traps.
Thanks for reading and give me a call for booking information. 903-603-2047 remember winter is some of the best fishing of the year!
