This year you will really FEEL THE THUNDER as four US Air Force demo teams are scheduled to fly including C-17 from McCord Air Force Base, Washington State, the A-10C Thunderbolt II, the F-16 VIPER and the F-35 Lightning II.

CAUTION! BRING YOUR EARPLUGS AS THE NOISE FROM THESE PLANES WILL BE DEAFENING.

In addition to the military assets, the show will feature 30 Warbirds including two MiG-17 jets, the B-17 Texas Raider Flying Fortress, a Marine Corp B-25 gun ship, the only SB2C “Helldiver” dive bomber in the world, the Falcon Flight team and many others. This year’s show will be capped off with the most unusual act on the airshow circuit, a performance by the world-famous Matt Younkin performing his Twin Beach 18 aerobatic flight routine in the dark!

THIS YEAR’S SHOW WILL BE STREAMED LIVE INTERNATIONALLY ON LIVE AIRSHOW TV. TO WATCH THE LIVE STREAMING, GO TO THE FACEBOOK PAGE FOR CEDAR CREEK VETERANS FOUNDATION OR TO THE LiveAishowTv FACEBOOK PAGE. The long weekend kicks off on Thursday, July 2, as these planes come roaring into Tyler Pounds Airport, at the Historic Aviation Memorial Museum (“HAMM”). HAMM will be open for visitors Friday, Saturday and Sunday for those who want an up close and personal view of several of these aircraft. The aircraft participating in the rehearsal will leave Friday July 3rd late afternoon to fly to Cedar Creek Lake and it includes the amazing aircraft of the United States Air Force, civilian warbird jets and others.

THE SHOW WILL BE COMPLETE WITH COMMENTARY ON THE BACKGROUND AND HISTORY OF THE PLANES AND WILL BE BROADCAST LIVE ON KCKL RADIO AT CEDAR CREEK LAKE.
This popular air show over the lake includes the military jets, parachute jumpers, warbirds, and performances by Randy Ball in his MiG 17’S with afterburner roaring at twilight. The show and individual performers are subject to change due to unforeseen weather, mechanical issues and governmental regulations. In prior years over 40,000 people have watched the air show from shore, docks and boats. Families from all over the region schedule their 4th of July activities around Thunder Over Cedar Creek Lake Air Show, creating lifetime memories.

Water Level on 10/30: 321.45 (-0.55)

Cedar Creek Lake Fishing Report from TPWD (Oct. 28)

EXCELLENT. Water lightly stained; 70 degrees; 0.60 low. Largemouth bass are good working topwater plugs and jerk baits early on creek ledges, points, boat docks, and retainer walls. Shaky heads, jigs, and crankbaits fished near boat docks, brush piles, and timber are productive later in the day. Hybrids and sand bass are off main lake points and humps with slabs, swimbaits, and live bait. Crappie are excellent with jigs and minnows in brush piles, boat docks, and bridges in 15-28’. Catfish are excellent in 10-25’ with punch bait, shrimp, and cut bait.
