Mabank at Cedar Creek Lake
Established in 1900, Mabank Texas is located on the northeastern edge of Cedar Creek Reservoir Mabank and home to 4,468 residents. The town hosts four major events per year beginning with the Cedar Creek Lake Car Show and Kiwanis Krawfish Boil the first Saturday in May. Just three weeks later you'll catch the Cedar Creek Lake Festival of the Arts held on historic Market Street in downtown Mabank. Towards the end of June, check out the annual Mabank Western Week and Rodeo. October is the month for the Mabank "Fall Affair" where local businesses, the school system and community organizations get creative as they paint and decorate round and square hay bales in the spirit of Autumn, the Halloween and Thanksgiving season.
